Wow, Houston is growing so fast right before my eyes! He is definitely transitioning into the "toddler" phase. He is so darn cute!
He can say, "Mommy, Daddy, Night-Night, Thank You, Bye-Bye, Puppy, Ball" and a few more. Last week, EVERY time someone would ask him a question, he would say, "Yeah!" It was the cutest thing, and the kids had fun asking him all kinds of crazy questions. But this week, "Yeah!" is out of his vocabulary. He NOW says, "No,no,no,no,no!" Ah! In one week, he went from agreeable to disagreeable! Also, when I sing "Old McDonald had a farm....," he pipes in with "E-I-E-I-O." It sounds like, "Yiy Yiy Yo." So sweet!
He had his first, second, and third "tantrums" this week! He threw himself down on the floor face-first and wiggled his legs a little. Then he would pull his head up and look around, and do it again! It wasn't really loud, just kind of a whimper. Good thing I turned away before he could see me laughing!
He loves for you to clap for him, and he joins in - what little kid doesn't? He likes to dance to music, which consists of leaning over a little, and bouncing up and down. He loves to throw and kick balls - he has a ton of them. I see a future athlete on my hands.
He can eat! At Christmas time, I think he ate 4 big slices of ham in one sitting! And he has a nice little pot-belly to show for it.
He loves "wrestling" with Jay, snuggling with Hayley, and playing with toys side-by-side with Hunter. He truly completes our family!
