I went to the doc today. So far no major changes, except for the fact that my lower back is KILLING me, and I've been cramping all day. And I can't sit comfortably or walk comfortably. Which leaves lying down. Which isn't all that comfortable either. :) The doctor could tell that I'm pretty miserable (sorry Les, I KNOW you are 100 times more miserable than I am right now). I think my BP was a little higher, because the nurse switched arms to take it again. SO - My doctor has decided to induce me one day next week. However, I don't know which day yet. L&D is pretty booked, so they will call me Sunday to let me know (certain that someone scheduled will go into labor over the weekend.) I took the rest of the day off today, and decided to go ahead and start my maternity leave. I tried to wait it out as long as I could, so I could have more time with the baby, but I can't get through a whole day at work without being uncomfortable. And that does them no good, anyway. I will let you know what the plan is - if I can just make it through the weekend!

I know you have to be miserable. I know the last few weeks are like torture to a woman's body. You are in our prayers and hopefully, you'll have him soon. At least you have some day next week to look forward to. It's right around the corner. :) Get some much needed rest the next couple of days!
Ahhh, the one and only time when cramping is a good sign of progress!
Enjoy the next few days and I would say enjoy your sleep...but we all know there is no sleep in those last weeks of pregnancy.
I'll be thinking of ya! Thinking...happy for you glad it's not me! Just joking. Kind of. Ok, ok... not joking at all. But, am glad it's you!

You are so cute! I was not cute at all when I was pregnant! I was miserable the whole time with both of my pregnancies so I feel for you right now! Good luck with everything!
I noticed that your son started Kindergarten this year, My son did as well and he also had a hard time at first. He is my sensitive child. He seems to be doing really well now, but we still have a ways to go! Hope all is well and I will be thinking of you these last few days!
I don't know...at 39+ weeks, I think we may be in the same boat. Plus, I have my good and bad days. I can only imagine at your stage that there are many more rough days. Exciting to know that the baby is arriving shortly!
I guess with my track record, I can't really whine for an update TOO much, but I'm not the one who's about to pop. It's Monday morning...how's it going?
