I am recommending a blog to those of you who want to help get your baby on a schedule and to sleep through the night. It is called Chronicles of a Babywise Mom. It is based on the book "On Becoming Babywise." Actually, I recommend the book as well. The very popular book has been controversial among some critics. I however, used the principles described in the book for both of my other children, and it worked miracles! I do believe that every mom has to go with her own instinct, and only do what is comfortable. But if you can manage 2-3 nights of letting your baby cry a little, you will reap the benefits. Let me be clear....I am not a fan of letting your baby "cry it out." I do, however, believe in helping your baby fall asleep on his, with reassurance, but not by picking baby up every time he cries. This will help baby fall back asleep when he wakes in the middle of the night, therefore, helping him sleep through the night better.

I so could have written that book! Sleep is so needed by new moms...especially moms with other little ones in the home.
Again, congratulations.
Yeah, I need something like that. Mine is still not sleeping through the night and he is coming up on 6 months. He's up every 4 hours still. I could've sworn my first two slept through the night at 2.5 to 3 months.
