San Diego - Here we Come!

My husband has earned a trip for us (no kids) to San Diego through his job! He came in 4th place this year out of 92 restaurants, and top 5 win the trip. We will be going 2 days after we close on the house (which is 3 weeks away), so we have a lot to get done! We will be accompanied by big executives in his company.

They hold nothing back when spoiling us for 4 days. We will be staying at the famous Hotel Del Coronado...

We will have Scott Foley (formerly with the Blue Angels) as our keynote speaker. We will be eating dinner one night aboard the USS Midway...

We will be sailing on the San Diego Bay....

Will we visit the San Diego Zoo....

And we will end the trip with a big Gala at the hotel...

So....of course I had to go find some stuff to wear. Especially to the gala. And something maternity. I tend to lean toward black, because it's easier to accessorize, but I couldn't find a dress in black, so I bought this aqua dress. It's darker and richer in color in person than in the picture.

Which leads me to the purpose behind this post. What hosiery/shoes/other accessories would you wear with this dress???

Love the dress! Love the color for sure! I would definitely do a strappy sandal, no hose. Some nice dangly earrings and a couple of bracelets and your set! Hope you enjoy your trip! :)

Hi Christy! It's Julie Hunter Tanner from Kojies. I've been catching up on your blog through Michelle. I had to comment on the Hotel del Coronado-It's awesome!! Brent was doing some business out there and we went out there for dinner and to just walk around (and enjoy a night out without kids!) It is beautiful!! That's awesome that you get to stay there!!
