Cell Phone Mania

Okay, I'll be the first to admit that I can not live without my cell phone. I left it at home one day and panicked. However, when I am at work, my cell phone is turned off. When I am at church, my cell phone is turned off. When I am at a function, event, or gathering, my cell phone is turned off. When I am out with a friend, I keep on low, and will not answer unless I feel that it could be important. Get it???

Today, I was at a retail store, and I kid you not, the girl behind the counter scanning my merchandise was on the cell phone! Talking to her grandmother the entire time. Not only did I not care to hear her whole conversation, I'm sure she could have worked a little faster if she didn't have one hand half constricted with her shoulder holding the phone to her ear. What has this world come to? Is it just me, or is that inappropriate?
