Hunter has gotten in a BAD habit of dropping his head down and whining, mumbling, and complaining when I ask him to do something, especially clean. After dinner tonight, the kids and I (sans husband who was at work) were rushing around to get ready for church. And they both were on a roll. They were yelling and fighting (and waking up Houston). Hunter was in a slow-poke whiny routine. It was time to get in the car and I asked Hunter to hurry up and get his coat on and come to the car. He started in again, and I lost it. Here's how it went down:
Me: "Hunter! I am TIRED of the whining and complaining! I am done with it. Get your coat on NOW! I am sick and tired of this! Just sick and tired!
Hunter (In a really pitiful voice ): "Well, if you're sick and tired of me, why don't you just sell me?"
Yep, that's what he said! I know, it just makes you feel awful doesn't it? Well, he pulls that stuff out a lot too, so I wasn't buying this time.
So I humored him and asked Hayley what she thought we could get for him. I said we could really use the money. Maybe Elijah's parents next door would buy him.
It worked. I know, I'm heartless sometimes. :)

You are so good at writing all of the funny comments down! I always think that I will never forget some of the things my kids say and I always do! I need to be better about posting their comments. Hope you are feeling better. I am just getting over Strep too. That stuff is awful! I felt so much better after a nice big shot! Hope you do!
I would of said the exact same thing.
HAHA... hi there, just dropping back in to say hello and KUDOS to you for your quick come back. I always am teasing my kiddos that I would sell them on EBAY if I thought I could get more than 1.00 for them.
