I about fell on the floorboard laughing after this one. Jay and I really should be more careful.
The family was headed to lunch Sunday after church. Hunter had asked WHY we never eat at Outback anymore. (We've taken them to Outback only a handful of times in their lives. If we go, we usually go by ourselves.) Before I could say anything, Hayley turned to her brother as if he KNEW the answer and said, "We have to save money. You know, with the new President and all."
Sorry if I offended any of you! We did have a talk about supporting our new President.

Too funny! We too learned our lesson the hard way. Right after the election we were discussing that our "pick" didn't win. Caleb was sitting there but we didn't figure he was paying any attention to us (he is 5 and a boy) and all the sudden he said "I don't like Obama" when we asked him why he said "b/c we don't believe in sharing the wealth!" Everyone about fell out of their chairs laughing. We then discussed supporting our new president. Guess we will be more careful about what we say in front of him.
That is funny! Alan and I actually really struggled with the decision during this election, and we ended up splitting our votes (he voted for Obama, I voted for McCain). Jacob then CHASTISED me for not voting for "Rock" Obama, who apparently was very popular at his elementary school!
HA! too funny! So true about watching what you say....we're learning that over here as well.
Oh WOW!!! She tooo funny!
